Vanguard Payout Funds

The Vanguard Payout Funds is a selection of three different funds. This is the Managed Payout Growth Focus Fund (VPGFX), Managed Payout Growth Focus and Distribution Fund Investors Shares (VPGDX), and the Managed Payout Distribution Focus Fund Investors Shares (VPDFX). The minimum to invest in any of these funds is $25,000.

Each one of these funds is designed to generate a revenue stream during retirement without diminishing the capital. Each share holder will receive a distribution of cash. Each payout amount is reset on an annual basis. Each of these funds is invested in a broad, diverse cross section of the market and asset classes.

For this year, the expense ratio of the VPGFX is at 0.53%. The price per share is $14.95 as of May 21, 2010, and the payout per share is at $0.0373. The figures at the minimum investment are 1673 shares being held with a monthly payout of $62.40.

For this year, the expense ratio of the VPGDX is at 0.48%. The price per share is $15.06 as of May 21, 2010, and the payout per share is at $0.0634. The figures at the minimum investment are 1660 shares being held with a monthly payout of $105.24.

For this year, the expense ratio of the VPDFX is at 0.45%. The price per share is $14.80 as of May 21, 2010, and the payout per share is at $0.0889. The figures at the minimum investment are 1689 shares being held with a monthly payout of $150.15.
